Dr. Shannon Maltais, Clinical Board of Director
Dr. Shannon Maltais is dedicated to the ongoing commitment to achieving optimal health and beauty by focusing on the whole body. Her philosophy supports the use of internal anti-aging factors such as nutrition, IV therapy, homeopathy, and detoxification as well as external factors which support the correction and prevention of the aging process. She believes it is never too early or too late to begin the journey of prevention and correction via natural, safe and effective means.
Dr. Maltais began her professional journey as a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Microbiology, chemistry and pre-medical studies. She then proceeded to receive her Medical Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Tempe, Arizona. During her post graduate training, Dr. Maltais received additional focused training in minor surgery and general dermatology. She also served as a clinical instructor in minor surgery and IV therapy. Dr. Maltais is board certified in many modalities including injectable therapies, nutrition, minor surgery, IV therapy, homeopathy and botanical medicine, as well as conventional medicine.
Dr. Maltais has served as acting Medical Director for three, valley Dermacare Laser and Skin Care Clinics over the past five years, practicing primarily cosmetic dermatology. She joined the medical practice of Dermacare At Arrowhead, as partnered Medical Director. Dr. Maltais eventually acquired the practice, independently, and renamed it,
Physician Skin Solutions at Arrowhead. She draws from her years of practice in aesthetic medicine to offer individualized, knowledge based protocols for all your skin care needs.
Dr. Maltais is a Founding Board Member for the
Naturopathic Physicians Board of Aesthetic Medicine (NPBAM), a division of the
Naturopathic Physicians Board of Medical Examiners. As well as a member of the following medical associations: American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine,
American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and
American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Maltais is a clinical trainer for Southwest Laser Institute, NPBAM and is considered to be an advanced injector in Botox and dermal fillers, holding Platinum Plus status with Allergan Pharmaceuticals.

Kim Moffo, MSN, RN, Clinical Board of Director
Kim Moffo is an RN holding her BS and MS in Nursing. She has practiced Aesthetic Medicine for five years and has twenty five years prior of nursing history in OB/GYN. Kim performs clinical laser training for Physician Skin Solutions at Arrowhead and specializes in advance Dermal fillers and Botox. Kim is also a clinical trainer for Cutera Lasers, the primary lasers used at Physician Skin Solutions at Arrowhead.
Nicole Konrath, Administrative Coordinator
Nicole is the Office Coordinator and Executive Administrative Assistant to Dr. Maltais. She takes much pride in assisting Dr. Maltais in her endeavors of a successful practice. She has collaborated with Dr. Maltais for over 3 years both at Physician Skin Solutions at Arrowhead and previous clinics. Nicole is a licensed Phlebotomist and Certified Medical Laser Technician. She is pursuing her dream of completing a degree in Healthcare.
